- Computer vision (e.g. analysis of group behaviour based on vision monitoring, 3D reconstruction, image processing and analysis).
- Optimising the process of plants’ watering and its automation.
- Mathematical modelling in computer science, engineering and natural sciences including the analysis of:
a) information systems based on stochastic models;
b) data interpolation and approximation;
c) dynamical systems and their applications in medicine, mechanics and astronomy;
d) interval calculus and its applications;
e) visual image cryptography;
f) optimisation.

Machine GRAPHICS & VISION is a peer-reviewed, international journal published by the Institute of Technical Informatics of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW in cooperation with The Image Processing Society .
Machine GRAPHICS & VISION it is a forum for the exchange of scientific ideas and is a source of information in the field of image information exchange between the computer and its environment, and in the field of visual and graphic information systems applications.
The journal focuses on the theoretical and computational models underlying the generation, analysis and all kinds of image processing, and covers, in particular, the following topics:
- image processing,
- scene analysis, modeling and understanding,
- machine vision,
- object recognition,
- image synthesis, including 3D imaging and solid modeling,
- mathematical methods in image processing, analysis and synthesis,
- mathematical methods in image processing, analysis and synthesis,
- computational geometry,
- models and image transforms,
- visualization and graphical presentation of data,
- diagrammatic representation of knowledge i diagrammatic reasoning,
- monocular vision and stereoscopic,
- modeling human visual perception,

- innovative use of various graphic and vision devices and systems.
The journal publishes original research papers, tutorials, reviews of the state of knowledge, reports on work in progress, proposed research directions and reports on published books and defended doctoral and habilitation theses. Articles are published in English.

The ACA conference series is devoted to promoting all kinds of computer algebra applications, and encouraging the interaction of developers of computer algebra systems and packages with researchers and users (including scientists, engineers, educators, and mathematicians).
Traditionally, ACA is organized in scientific sessions covering all foundational aspects and applications of computer algebra. Details about the planned special sessions will become available soon as these become accepted.
